The 6th edition of SEE MEET, the 2-day international B2B event of Southeast Europe, will be organized on October 20th and 21st on-line (virtual).

In just two days, participants get an opportunity to conduct up to 24 individual meetings with potential business partners, introduce themselves and establish contacts, or start a future project.

The organizers and their partners, will again attracted a wide array of companies both by their respective field of work or country of origin.

Focus of the event: companies from manufacture of machinery and metal products, production of electrical equipment, information and communication technology sector and as well as other related services.

The matchmaking event aims to initiate business and technology co-operations by offering pre-arranged 25-minute meetings. The basis for the meetings is an online catalogue containing all competence profiles of each participant. The event will be organized in form of pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings in combination with the half day conference and thematic lectures by selected keynote speaker. 

About SEEmeet
The idea of SEE MEET was born in 2014, when the first edition was organized in Radenci (Pomurje region) in Slovenia. In 2017, 2018 and 2019, the event moved to Maribor and was even more successful. In 2020 due to covid situation the event merged to SEEmeet Lectures. 

The main goal was and remains - offering a platform for companies to establish new business connections. The focus of the event is to connect companies from Southeast Europe among themselves and with companies from Northwest Europe, thus becoming an important European business generating hotspot. This year we will have special attention on companies coming from the fields of manufacture of machinery and metal products, production of electrical equipment, information and communication technology sector and as well as other related services.

As a joint project, the event is organised by the Slovenian Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, Public Agency of the Republic of Slovenia - SPIRIT and 10 regions from Slovenia.

Registrations are open until 19th October.

L'Epilogue C2L3Play is the closing event of the interreg supported project : Creative Living Lab Triple Play that has brought together actors from Hauts-de-France, Flanders and Wallonia. 

For the last five years, diverse profiles such as scientists, artists, creators, entrepreneurs and users have worked together within the framework of the Creative Living Lab Triple Play in order to create and to innovate in the sector of Cultural and Creative Industry. 

This project is coming to its end, it is time to reflect on what has been created and implemented. Having that in mind the organisators propose you this event as a creative meeting bringing together actors from Innovation, Cultural and Entrepreneurship worlds. 

The event will take place on October 7th and 8th, 2021 in Mons at the CLICK. 

The focus will be on Creative and Cultural Industries and on design.

There will be several seminars and masterclasses as well as a some workshops to underline the methodologies developed in the framework of a living lab. 

A B2B matchmaking for companies is organised on both days.

A 2021 survey found that around 90% of cyclists who experienced bike theft in the UK, Netherlands and Germany had locked their bike. Bike theft remains a major problem globally, and with an increase in the number of cyclists during the pandemic, the demand for more effective security for cyclists has grown. 

A UK company has developed a new anti-theft device that incorporates smart connectivity and tracking technology for bicycles. The system is designed to empower bicycle and Light Electric Vehicle (LEV) manufacturers to provide products that are smarter, more connected and capture detailed customer insight through cyclist behavioural data.
Cyclists benefit from advanced anti-theft and tracking features for a more secure and connected riding experience.

The hardware module (printed circuit board and power source) combines vibration, accelerometer, roll over and 6 axis gyro sensors, with eSim (embedded SIM card), GSM (Global System for Mobiles), Bluetooth, GPS (Global Positioning System) and integrated alarm into a device measuring 93mm by 25mm by 1mm and weighing 30g.

The UK company is seeking bicycle or accessories manufacturers with experience in manufacturing devices which could incorporate the elements above (and might also include their components, eg printed circuit board and power source) to produce the devices and add them to their product line, under white label manufacturing agreement.
